The Converge Clan found yet another opportunity to exhibit its ‘Tech-Quotient’ at Bluebells International School on 30 November 2009 and emerged triumphant as Montfort School lifted the rolling trophy at VIRUS 2009.

We thank everyone associated with G@teway 2009 for making it a grand success. Held on 31 July 2009 at Montfort School Delhi, G@teway could have been no better at presenting an all-inclusive tech-fiesta that put the IT quotients of the participants to test (though all grey-cell junkies, do pull up your socks for a better Quiz finals next time around).

TCS IT Wiz was conducted on the 11th of December, 2008 on Thursday at IIT Delhi. Three teams of Montfort School, consisting of the following participants took part in this quiz:

About 650 teams (which is a total of 1300 students) took part in India’s biggest quiz. Me (Aditya) and my partner Mridul lost out to Kalka Public School for qualifying amongst the top six. We missed out by only one point, and came seventh. Thats achievement to be proud of! Seventh amongst six-hundred-and-fify! However, the others performed well. Delhi Public School, Noida were the runners-up and Delhi Public School, RK Puram were the winners, and received a laptop and dinner at Shangri-La.
This was probably Mridul and Arpit’s last quiz, but I am sure that there are others to come. Saumey Jain of class 8 was a revelation, as he knew quite a bit. He even knew the full form of WiMax, which is Wireless Interoperability for Microwave Access!
Congrats to the qualifying teams. They did a good job. So did V.S Karthik and Vivek Nair of Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj, who finished eighth (next to us). It was a good learning experience, as Pickbrain conducted the quiz.

Although the winners of Web Desiging did not receive a trophy [as it was a team event and there was no limit to the number of team members], yet the points in the overall tally was crucial. Although not much attention was paid to it at the time of announcement, we later found out that it made a difference.
Montfort School won the Overall Trophy at Code Wars 2008.

Dynamix 2007 was probably the last Computer symposium this year , which we would be attending and we ended it in a not so good note. We stood second in GD ( Mrittunjoy Guha Majumdar) and third in Quiz ( Mridul Kapoor and Aditya Salapaka).
